The kids business book

In this book they show people ( mainly kids ) who started their own business. The kids started their business mainly because: Money and more Money! When they get enough money for the thing they want most, they'll close down their business, or keep on going. They started particular businesses because of what their city needs, what they enjoy to do, and what they're good at. The important things I think is important are 1. You should always find something that's helpful or useful to your city or the people their going to be working for. 2. you should think about your price and how much money you're going to spend on the accessories tha you will need later on when you start your business. 3. You have to think about how to attract the customers by posting ads and telling friends to tell other people. I think those are the important things you need to learn. Some risks the kids fell into was the price and loosing people. They also had trouble doing it by themselves because sometimes they had trouble doing it all by themselves. So they asked for help from friends or family members. Some productive resources they needed was help from people, advertisement, and resources they needed to keep their business going. Profit is what you have left after you subtract your expenses from your income. If you don't make any profit then you should raise the price or start a new business instead of quiting and never coming back to the business world again.

Why "Picture" America

We went to a site called "Picturing America". It shows and gives you facts about the amazing pictures about the American history. They created it because "Picturing America" brings our common heritage and ideals by bringing us face to face with the people, places, and events that created our country. It provides an interesting way to experience America’s history through our nation’s art. You can learn about American history that provides students with a way to the entire universe of the humans. The pictures that Mrs.Dresler gave us was there because she probably wanted us to see different varieties of art. Like I said i like the quilts picture. If you don't know about it gocheck the early posts I wrote

Painting with a hammer

In Painting With a Hammer Their is an old man who is a silversmith. He loves to build silver stuff like cups or teapots. I think it's called Painting with a hammer because he used a hammer to create this wonderful cup. It's just amazing with what he makes with a hammer and some other old stuff from the past.

Picturing America and Silver in the Virtual Field Trip

There is a virtual field trip that you can take to go see how a silver mine works. I will link it to my post later. There are interesting stuff in the virtual field trip and here are some things that I will tell you about. Did you know that back then miners had to use candle lights to see in the dark?Wouldn't that be hard for you? I know that would be hard for me. Did you also know that miners used sledge hammers and they had to use dynamites to blow up the rocks that they did not use? That's what I learned just in stop 2. And in stop 5 they showed a change room. The change was for the miners to change clothes. They changed clothes because they would come to work in their everyday clothes. So when they came to work they had to change their clothes into mining clothes. When their shift was done their mining clothes would be wet, but they would put their mining clothes by the fire and when they came the next day their mining clothes would be dry. That's why they had change rooms. In stop 12 I found out how the mill was powered. Do you know how it was powered? It was powered by water. That's so cool! If you want to go see it for yourself, here it is.

Picturing america and Silver

These are some amazing silver wares'. Though they have different shapes they do have some things in common. The first thing they all have is that the are all silver wares. The sacond thing is that they all have handles that are unique. The third and not the last thing is that they are really amazing and they are made to be kept or used for people who buys them. Their are more they have in common, but I only listed some for you. They also have differences, too. One thing is that they are created by different silversmiths. Another thing is that they have different shapes and for sure they aren't all the same size. The last thing I can list down is that they are used in different ways. It probally took the silversmiths different amounts of time for them to make it, too.

"Sans Arc Lakota" Ledger book

The first pattern I see is that they're all Native wearing feathers on their head. The next pattern is that they are all bunched up in groups. The last thing is that they look like Native Americans. It also looks like they're doing a ritual.
